Shade 9 The Rulers

The Ruler is used to measure horizontal and vertical distances in each of the three view planes. Choose View > Ruler to display the ruler.

Drag the ruler to move it.

Drag the four sides of the ruler (Win) / the size box on the lower right corner of the Ruler (Mac) to change its size. The scale is always displayed along the longest edges (vertical or horizontal) of the Ruler.

Scale

The ruler units are specified in the Control Bar.

The scale of the ruler changes with the scale of the view plane.

Close Box

The ruler is hidden by pressing this button.

Reverse Button

The origin end of the ruler is reversed by clicking this button.
